I have just noticed that the glass around the heater has cracked leaving the heating coils bare in the water..think it may have been like this a day or so but didnt notice...have now replaced the heater with another but im just worried..would the cracked glass casing have left anything dangerous...

We have a black molly we just got from a LFS..once we got the bag home we noticed black bits in the bottom which was odd...Since getting her home she has given me 14 baby mollies who are doing fine but she seems to have lost some more scales around the top fin area... Any ideas ?

Yes snails i do, This is what i thought it could be..they seem to be breeding like wildfire...are there any ways to take care of them without harming the fish ?

I saw one of these floating around this morning then this evening i foudn a few behind the heater...they look like eggs of some kind but this is a tank of guppies and a single small loach who was getting picked on

no its bigger than ich unless its a really concentrated patch but none of the other fish have signs of it...Im currently 3 days into melafix in the tank to see if this helps as i also have 1 or two nipped fins to deal with. Wish i could get a picture but dont have the datacable for my cam :(

My First male molly and father to the lil ones looks like he has something wrong with him, on his left side about 2mm below the top fin he has about a 2mm patch which is kinda white. He is still perfectly happy chasing the ladies but i dont want anything happening to him or it getting worse...

In my local fish shop a few days ago i noticed they had just brought in stock of 'Wild Guppies' Ive never come across this variety before, Is there anything in the name of being Wild or would they mix with my other Guppies without problems?

Its great when they give birth :) You have a randy guppy too huh..mine seems to ignore the female guppy and constantly tries to get it on with the female plattie

I didnt have anywhere to put my little un's..so far baby mollies/platties and guppys are all doing fine in the main tank
