if your looking for colourful fish i know neon tetra are colourful they look great, but they need to be put into a mature tank

i have heard that neons are very delicate fish not so hard as other fish they need a mature tank...and for the 3 missing neons maybe your shark ate them?

No she is talkin about the filter! as my little brother used to have i little fish tank and had a crappy filter it was quite loud...but the filter i was going to use was a fluval 4+, and the was going to be in my room which is right next to hers!

cool what fish would you say would be a good first fish to put in the tank when it is ready? im thinkin of maybe getting some mollies and guppies...

oh right cool out of the tetra family which tetra would you say are the toughest? as i have seen lots of different tetra's in the fish shops

also another question is water conditioner the same thing as dechlorinater? cheers

Ye i have read all the sections on how to cycle and everything i have a question...how the hell would you measure 7ml of ammonia to put into your tank!? it sounds like an impossible to me! but im new to all of this! i think when it comes to plants id go for fake ones as this seems easier for me!

So i have decided to start a tropical fish tank, what do i need?? A filter A Heater Gravel/Sand Air Pump What else do i need? do i need any special chemicals for the water or anything like that? i am a new starter never done this thing before so i will take all help given! :D thanks
