well ive had her for maybe a month with no males in my tank, can she still be pregnant? i've heard bout them holding sperm etc but for how long does this hold true?

hey all, i got meself a couple bns a few weeks ago that were about an inch long, and in five weeks they have grown to at least 2 inches, is this normal growth rate? the water params are spot on, i'm varying the diet and they look and seem really healthy and happy they are wll proportioned too!

i have a heavily pregnant guppy but she dont seem to wanna give birth yet?! can they hold onto the fry for any amount of time or does it not work like that?!

my yeast sugar mix has suddenly decided to overflow into my tank. i've obviosly cut off the co2/liquid and done a 30 percent water change, is this gonna cause any harm to my fish?

all the others are fine tho? i'll change the diet a bit but could it be anythin else?

now we are all well aware of how the guppy species has become somewhat inbred/weakened etc, my question is whether or not its feasable to assume that if a pure bred guppy was to "play mummies and daddies" with a weaker inbred species that the resulting fry would have much better health. If so...

update on fishes got me fry tank all set up the morning after discovering the guppy fry and just found a few more giving a total of 17!! looks like there were no casualties during the night after all!

just counted 17. she definately doesnt look like shes gonna have anymore tho!!!
