According to my water strips, the hardness is at 300+ as well as the Alkalinity. The pH is at 8.4 + (note that these are as high as my test kit will go. I have no idea if the water is way higher then this.) As for the size of the tank, I was thinking of going for either a 10 or a 29 gallon...
