I'm not an expert butttt I've heard that sometimes after moving the plant, some of the leaves die off but then grow back again :) maybe you've just got a moody plant lol

Oh okay, thanks for letting me know. I took it out as soon as I saw it in the morning but of course it might have been in there dead a while. All I know is he was alive yesterday evening, and dead this morning.

I would get on to your fish store about that... deliberate or not, they sold you a product that wasn't as described

Guppies are awesome! I have six right now, as well as some swordtails. They don't deserve hate for being popular - there's a reason they are! Guppy love <3

I wouldn't buy from them - a few fish are bound to die from stress from transport and stuff, but what doesn't have to happen is for them to be left to decompose in the store :( shows how much they care about the animals they're selling imo

Do you buy your RO/DI water or do it yourself? I've heard horror stories about what stores do to their RO water.

Guppies!!! If the common ones aren't for you, perhaps look into some fancy strains :)
