That's what I was thinking   I don't have live plants now, but think I will add in the near future   Question....can I go ahead and put my live plants in?  I have a few fish in my tank but it is cycling.  I used Start Right to speed up the process.  Thanks for your help!

Thank you very much!  Also, could someone answer another question for me?  I have a filter on one side of the tank (hang on back).  The water on the opposite side of the tank is not moving much if at all.  Do I need something to circulate the water on the opposite side like you do in a saltwater...

I have not considered American Cichlids!  I haven't looked at them or anything.  Would this be a better fish?
