Yes, He has an extra large hump, thats the name you call a Flowerhorn's head. Many fish from the amazon have extra large humps on their head. Freddy is a hybrid fish bred by man to exaggerate those features.

I was once told you can use coal in your filter for the same effects as carbon. Is this true?

Just to rock the boat. I have 10 Altum Angels and 7 Denison Barbs in my tank along with mixed tetra and a group of 5 Cory Cats. They are all doing just fine and the Denisons don't bother my Angel fish at all. the tank is planted with Amazon Swords on a sand substrate and lots of bog wood.

Are they breeding?
