I would like to buy one too. Not sure where you all are from but I'm in Sacramento, CA. US I'm interested in even looking into an on-line purchase.

Thanks for posting the pic above, it reassures me of the purchase today. I got 3 pairs from my LFS today but was wary of the females. After getting home and seeing your pic above tells me I did good. If I had a better camera, I'd post them, they look exactly like yours, color, pattern and all.

I don't have any yet but saw some at a shop in Sacramento, CA. and want 3 pairs. What's the best way to identify a male as being the closets to the original species? Do you think they are okay with a male betta in a 20g long?
