Hi guys, just new to keeping tropical fish and to the forum. I havent added any ammonia to my tank or any additives but decided to add some fish. I left the water in my tank for 8 days before adding any live stock. is this a bad idea? The fish i added are doing fine. eating and swimming around

Hi Folks, Just set up my tank which is the Fluval Rio 125. I intend to keep some plants along with fish obviously and I am looking on some advice regarding lighting. THe current light unit is for T8's. What is the best lightbulbs to buy for this type of setup?
