Have the emperor running here with no problems. everything is right in line. on the water side we are having the inevitable algae bloom that come from not using RO water (little tight to do for us right now but working on it). just went through the slime algae stage. boy is that ugly

We have a 55gal tank and everything I have seen about lighting is confusing. How long a strip will fit on this? Have been told 48" is wrong size. Is this right. After checking all glass site says length of tank is 48 3/4. Help please

Read in a fish newsletter recently that it's not good to feed any worms to cichlids since this will most likely cause bloat. Is this true? Have fed bloodworms to ours with no ill affects. What's your experinces?
Well someone just had at least 2 babies last night. Hoping to find more in the breeder very soon. Hope it's the platy in there and not another fish. Tank is real cloudy so it's hard to find the babies.
