    Corydoras or Kuhli Loaches?

HAHA, this cracks me up. I could watch my kuhli loaches and corydoras all day if I had the chance too! The kuhli loaches are like little noodles swimming in water! the corydoras are like little submarines when they are swimming. They zoom EVERYWHERE!

    Adding Rams with Discus

My rule is if the mouth of the discus is bigger than the fish you are adding, don't add the other fish until they are bigger than the discus mouth.

    mollies protecting babies

Sounds like his parent instincts kicked in(which mollies don't have usually), so when you took the babies away, his instincts went back to normal. I am thinking it is like a female cat, she will not eat anything for a few hours and take in anything fuzzy, including baby raccoons, baby birds...

    mollies protecting babies

Agree, male mollies only chase off other fish especially other male mollies, so he can be the first to mate with the female after giving birth. As for protecting the fry, are you sure he is protecting the fry and not chasing them away? I have never heard of a male molly EVER protect fry. Though...

    I’m About To Scream!

Well, corydoras are catfish which are scaleless, which means they are very sensitive to copper. Honestly, if there is still ich because ich can survive even with the harshest chemicals, I would completely empty all of the water out of the tank, remove the gravel, get new gravel, and replace...

    Corydoras or Kuhli Loaches?

Well, hehehehehehe, so I keep both kuhli loaches and corydoras. I have over 40 kuhli loaches in my 60 gallon along with around 20 corydoras in my 60 gallon. I have over 40 corydoras in my 20 long(because they are all babies and growing!) and I have 20 in my 10 gallon hehe! So, kuhli loaches, in...

One of my new Albino corys gone missing

Usually corydoras, when you can't find them are either stuck somewhere or they are dead and getting eaten by your fish(all fish eat anything that is dead). Do you see any bones in your tank? a skull?

Corydoras sterbai eggs - moved to separate tank - questions

Actually, they eat to the baby brine shrimp just like any other fish, yes they are bottom feeders, but they swim to all parts of the tank. Top, mid, and bottom. Sand isn't needed for at least the first week of a cory fry's life. Mine have bellies full with baby brine shrimp. Little pellets make...

Corydoras sterbai eggs - moved to separate tank - questions

Hello, and congrats on the eggs! Not many people are ever prepared for eggs;). When I had left mine in a breeder box, I regretted it as they all escaped and got eaten that day. If you don't want to cycle the 10-gallon tank, just do water changes every day. Sponge filters easily colonize on the...
