Rearranging the tank is good advice, how well it works will be for you to decide. Maybe a good idea would be to have the tank set up in such a way that the female can escape this attention e.g more plants etc
Any other members have opinions on the correct male to female ratio for this tank...
Just wanted to say this,
If you don't like the advice someone gives you in a forum it doesn't neccessarily mean that it is wrong. What is wrong is that the guy was asking for advice & only a few members actually addressed his problems.
DO disconnect the heater BEFORE doing a water changes. This is good advice as the explosion in the tank with an exposed heater is quite remarkable.
Other questions would be best answered by the manufacturer of the heater, just remember to plug IN the heater AFTER the water change!
Added the Ammonia removal sachets (bought them specially!), unfortunately I didn't seem to rinse them properly before use.
