Sorry for my triple post, but I've lost him unfortunately.   I fished him out (the shark and the loaches started taking bites out of him) but I've taken a few pictures to see if there's any signs of something wrong/cotton mouth other than bites.          Any advice would be great.

Poor guy is definitely on his way out. I'm not sure if it's cotton mouth now as this time yesterday he was absolutely fine... could it be a bite!?

That disease I read is fatal very quickly, which doesn't seem to be the case here. I'm not sure if it's that.
