- Kept freshwater tropical fish since 1989, but had a break for 5 years due to a very busy life with many changes! Things have settled down nicely and I have more time on my hands and couldnt wait to get started again with a new aquarium. Purchased a Jewel 96 litre tank towards the end of 2006. It is freshwater tropical and is fairly heavily planted. It is currently home to zebra danios, neon tetras and platys. I also have 2 x 25 litre aqua qubes which are planted and are nursery tanks for platty and danio fry.
