I am about to empty the last fish from my 65 litre tank. I was thinking of putting a little betta community together...maybe 5 or 6 females and a male. I have heard that the male might harass the ladies to death...is this true....it has put pay to my plans. I have a dwarf gourami community...

I realise that now - but when I bought him I was told to just keep him seperate from other paradise fish and bettas.....The gouramis are largely male (as far as I can tell) and they have been getting on fine. It isn't the paradise fish who is the culprit - he only moved in post any damage.
