I have a 40 gallon and a new (just filled yesterday) 55 gallon. I was wondering if it would help if I took one of the cotton filter screens (time to change anyway) from the 40 gallon and put it in my 55. Just kind of a thought. My 40 has 3 goldfish, 2 rosey reds, 1 pleco, and a painted turtle.
