i haven't seen it before but if you ask supercoley where he got his on ebay (i forget) he recommends the company he got his from and says its a very good kit

what make of tank is that? photos just get better and better

would it not trap tank water in round the back which wouldn't be getting circulated? If its not moving then i think it could lead to problems, bit like a dead unmoving river. (correct me if im wrong :D)

Is your tank high tech?

you bought a filter from an individual by sounds of it...unreliable and anything could have happened it when he had it. the filters are good, who cares what it looks like! its a filter!

i have a fluval and it is a brilliant filter in the tank. Easily cleaned and mantained. But in the FX5, bigger filter means bigger equipment. Bigger equipment means more water being turned over and obviously the pipes have to get bigger to cope with it. You cant put 3500litres down a tiny...

the drop checker should be stable at green. if its blue you need more CO2, if its yellow you have too much CO2 in the tank

the reflector is about 5cm away from the plastic bit. asl tubes are better? the daylight ones with 7100K white or the freshwater plant at 8000K pink and 12000K blue?
