10g tank is just 4weeks old but all readings are OK due to sponge from LFS I put to my filter - when i did that 3weeks ago within 24h amonia and nitrites went to 0. I hope I can at least start transferring my plants giving them first a dip in 19:1 (bleach:water)?

My new Aquaclear 30 filter puts big cloud of something looking like tiny pieces of that ceramic material BioMax insert is made of into the water. It does it when filter starts after minor changes inside filter basket. Is it because BioMax is still new? I am now afraid to stop the filter. Thanks.
