one of our mollies looks like it has ich. although it doesn't look like what ich commonly looks like. it is all over the top of the fish and looks more a human suffering from dry skin. Is this ich? If not what is it and how do we treat it?

Will carbon hurt live plants? Also I need a good filter for a 30 gallon tank. One that will keep the water crystal clear. Any suggestions?

Will using the aquarium salt recommended for freshwater fish, hurt the fish that do not need it to live?
