Well the tank is cycling at the moment and the water is typically around 7-8 on the ph scale and would be a freshwater tank. Its a 10 gallon tank, standard dimensions and the substrate is a fine gravel. I was leaning toward some kind of small gourami pair/trio or maybe a pair of small cichlids.

What would a good species be to get a pair or maybe a trio of for a 10 gallon tank?
