Hi, thanks for reply. My stats are checked regularly every month by a kind tropical fish shop and always come back as acceptable. I agree, can hardly see flukes, never seen them on my fish myself. Little blighters in one of my tanks appears to resemble lice, small, round and with a dark line...

Never heard of saddleback. I too have same problem, fish dye, no apparent reason, no obvious signs of disease. Very frustrating and disheartening

Sounds easy and I agree, cleaning the substrate is important. My problem is having so much wood, real plants etc, its nigh on impossible to clean more then 50% without wood falling over or uprooting a plant or 2, all of this stessing my fish. Not an easy task !
