Thank's for the replies, yeah i'm replacing the whole unit because the electrics for the lights stopped working. The DIY hood looks great but i'm way too much of a lazy arse to build something like that :lol: . Glad you mentioned about the flaps, i just checked and they do fit the Arcadia unit...

Hi, the lighting unit stopped working on my tank, atm i've ripped the electrics out of the hood and bodged a different lighting system into it but its only running one tube. So i need to replace the hood, anyway on to the question.. Is the Arcadia I bar any better than getting another Juwel hood?
