Might throw a few pictures up then, and yep they are adults around 4-6cm and with definite gonopodiums.  I feed flake food morning, micro pellets at night then alternate frozen bloodworms and frozen brine shrimp every 3-4 days. 

Hey guys, A few weeks ago I purchased 2 male and 4 female bumblebee platies, Since then I have seen almost no interest from the males in the females at all. My ph is around 6.0 and the temp is about 24 C.  What can I do to help them out?  Cheers

Hey guys, So this is my current 2 foot tank, and I'm not a fan of how empty it looks.     Which plant species should I add and where? I'm thinking a large amazon sword to replace the terracotta pot, and to fill the rest in with corkscrew val... Please help me out haha  Thanks all :)

I suppose any suggestion of enhanced colouring is essentially just a compliment seeing as they are in fact genuine

Just stumbled across this post, and as it happens I actually bought four of these 'sapphire blue' angels from that exact breeder yesterday :) haha

the water changes are a well known trigger for rainbowfish, especially when the new water is about 2 degrees lower than the tank water. cool fresh oxygenated water simulates heavy rainfall and the onset of the wet season here in Australia :)

Interesting, I should probably look into that then. From what I've heard it's extremely unlikely for a homemade system to over dose (above 50ppm), especially if mine's only producing 1 bubble per second. Would you still recommend looking into a drop checker with this in mind? 

But if there is one bubble every 3 seconds going straight into my external filter don't I already know how much c02 is in the water?

Seen an "Old Type" Anubias Barteri advertised for a lot cheaper than a 'normal' Barteri on LiveFish.com, can anyone explain what the difference is (there was no image for the Old Type to compare with) ?

Nothin too much to note really, the Black Widow Tetra have been stalled a while because the breeder was completing his tax return or something like that :( Fish are all looking great and happy though, doing 25% water changes every few days and everything is going pretty well :)
