    10 Gal Sorority

    My rule I use is 1 inch of fish for every gallon, so 6 in a 10 gal may be at the limit. With your filtration system, just make sure it's not causing a swift current or a lot of turbulence in the water, Bettas don't care for that. I've had the best luck with under gravel filters...but that's just me.

    Keeping the water clean and clear is always important, but remember that Bettas, just like people, have their own personalities. Some may be more passive, some more aggressive. So sometimes there's not much you can do if they are over aggressive.

    Betta Not Eating

    How long has he been in his new tank? It's possible that he is going through an adjustment stage, and once he's familiar with his new surrounding, he'll be back to his old self. Did you add him to his new tank the way you would introduce a new fish? By letting the different water temperatures...

    Betta Tankmate

    I certainly would not put guppies in with your Bettas. I've had loaches and cory cats in with mine...but just like people, every Betta has their own unique personality, so it really depends on the fish...and it sounds like yours may be just fine alone.
