Ok, so I just set up a 10 gallon tank and put a mesh divider in it for my 2 bettas. I was just wondering if I should put a filter in to keep the water from becoming stagnant and keep it on the lowest setting? If so what kind would you recommend for my tank size?

He is a halfmoon! Yah! I got him to finally flare at his reflection and the 180 on the back fin was as clear as day.

Ok I got some better pictures of him. Even got him to flare a little bit today. I decided to name him Azul. Hopefully those pictures are a little better than the webcam ones.

I just picked up this little guy tonight and he was labeled as a halfmoon but I've yet to see his fin go 180 degrees. So I was wondering if you all could help identify him.

So after reading on the forums and sites that bettas love bloodworms I decided to go to my pet store and pick some up for him. Only problem is he wont eat them. Any ideas on why or ways to warm him up to them?

Yeah, I added some aquarium salt to his tank yesterday and he seemed to really enjoy it.

Figured I would post some pictures of my first betta. The little guy seems to love the camera and will sit for long periods of time infront of his webcam. Sushi 1 Sushi 2 Sushi 3 Sushi 4 He had a rip on his fin when I got him and was wondering if I should be worried. Fin rip

I was also wondering when changing the water and cleaning the tank should I do a full water change or a percentage water change?

Ok thank you, just added the salt and made sure it didn't get on him or stuck on anything he likes to rest on.

Even though he is in the water? Just add the salt to it? I'm just worried and don't want to hurt him.
