What kind of sand did you use?

Well... i wasn't going to use CO2. Just stock it with low light plants. Use sand as a base. Dunno what kind of fish to put in it. Maybe some kind of Tetra.

Can anyone tell me if they could be used for planted tanks?

It's a 29 gallon planted tank. (I want to eventually get a 40-49g bow front tank) I have 2 rainbows (1 female & 1 male) and 1 molly that was born in my tank. Also, i have 2 plecos.. ones about 5 inches the other is about 6.

I know I've asked this before.. but i can't seem to remember what everyone said. :blush: Anyways... could anyone tell me, again what other types of fish i could keep with Rainbows and Mollys?

Just 1 angel fish. It's my friend's Moms and she isn't taking care of it. It's in kinda a small tank but not too bad. But the inside is all green and gross and he's a little beat up looking. I have the regular 29 All glass aquarium. And it's a planted tank. So, I think it would enjoy my tank...

nevermind.. it says its ok to keep rainbows with angels.

What about Rainbow fish? Could they be keept with Angels?

You should get he/she some live plants... like, duckweed, water lilies, frogbit, anacharis...etc. Pretty much anything that you can have in a pond you can have with turtles. Maybe some sand in the bottom of the tank, my brothers two adult RES looove to dig in the sand. Make sure you don't...

For excellent information about turtles, I would suggest signing up on this site and learning loads of stuff. :)
