If I cant float them to acclimatise them to the tank temperature how do I do this? Both tanks are set at the same temperature but I cant take the chance that this is actually the case can I?

Hi All I think I maybe able to add my two angels and silvershark into their new home come the weekend :drool: They will love the extra space... I cycled the tank like suggested by using my other tank media and some of the items and then after a while added some danio's. I checked the water...

Hi All I was just wondering if I can go to the local garden centre and buy their alpine grit to put in the tank. Where do others usually get their gravel for the tanks from?

I think I may not get the silver shark in a bag without stressing him (he is 6-7" long)... ???

Great, how do I go about changing them from one tank to another as I know when you get new fish you float the bag you buy them in... Anyone else any idea about if the alpine gravel from the garden centre is ok to use?
