adults i feed on a commercial diet aswell as the addition of live shrimp and and fish. If i can find a local population will get a few from there otherwise will buy some in the coming weeks.

these will end up as turtle dinner or food for my grunters.

i have a couple of bathtubs spare. Purple spots and empires are found locally in my area so temps are fine. Not sure on size but its plenty big enough for a few just need to know will they fight?

with the purple spots would it be ok to keep a small group in a bathtub? Or will harrasment be an issue?

we have a rainwater tank which overflows everytime it rains so plenty of water for topping it up. Temps in summer 30-40c, 30c at the moment, yea its great living in aus. Will juck in my java moss and plenty of wood. Thanks guys.

i just setup a bathtub today for breeding swords for feeders. How many do you think i could have in an average bath tub and what hides to use for the fry?

the 2 saw shelleds and 2 kreffts will go into a pond but my mary river turtle will stay indoors, being a criticly endangered species i want to have it in a nice indoor setup, probably go for an 8ft eventually, they are a huge turtle.

its for a 100l tank so looking at 600-700L/H would it be worth making one or just buy one in this case?

just wondering if it is best to store nets in water? When i keep line dry they get dust and crap on them and dirties the water when i use them.

600-700 wouldnt be overkill would it? I will be upgrading so i would like it to handle a bit of a larger tank if need be

what sized filter will i need for a 100l turtle tank? It has 5 turtles, 5-10cm carapace length. a few fish and feeder crays

its nor swim bladder disease, have had that before so know what that is. Yes it has gone off its food. Will get hom to do some water changes. And i think it is cycled
