convicts dont play well with others....if you get them...just get THEM they will most likly stress the others to death or just kill them...might i recomend some others...perhaps mbuna...or peacocks?
ok...ive decided to re-do my 29 Gallon and i need some ideas! something really active perhaps another type of cichlid...shell dwellers or dwarfs but i have no idea where to start all ideas will be considerd! something that will catch ones eye plants...rocks..and some wood will be at my disposal...
well the first one contracted a whole lot of white spots...but thats after he died that they apeared...the second one was peachy for a few weeks ...no physical changes finrot..nippage anything of that sort....just stiff as a board when i found him comon plecs btw not but maybe 3 or so inches long...

yes its stress..tiger barbs get stressed really easily and have been known to act weird because of it...being color loss is a comon effect..they also float about the tank like they are dying...and some even swin sideways and upsidedown

ive had green spots before and yes they are brackish...they DO require salt...the people at your LFS are morons...who shouldnt be near a fish or prolly any other animals...but like they said salt will help
