Bristlenose Plec + Red Tail Black Shark

Thanks both! Calmed my nerves a bit on this.. I see you’ve mentioned Danios, are there any other fish/types of fish it’d be worth us looking into to “finish” out this tank, wanting to make sure everything is big enough and bad enough to survive the onslaught of a RTBS if we do decide to keep him!

Bristlenose Plec + Red Tail Black Shark

I’ll take that confidence! Neither of the plecos have whiskers which I believe makes them female.. so all good there I believe? My main worry was the RTBS, I had one previously which developed a taste for tetras and the like, thus I’m always worried my next will be another incarnation of...

Bristlenose Plec + Red Tail Black Shark

Hi all, yes it’s been built to spec and is on a relatively low pile carpet so not really got any worries there! Thanks all for calming my nerves… now to cycle the thing!

I’m not around at the moment for live pictures, but the stand itself if unaware is this one! Tank and Stand

New Tank, New Stand… will it hold?!

Hi all, Apologies in advance, this is a question likely as old as time in this forum. Like many others, I’m making a bit of a return to the hobby yet I am doing so with a 125L Fluval Roma and its accompanying stand… yet when looking at the stand now with the tank approx 3/4s full, I can’t help...
