just to set the record straight, the sealent came form the petshop with the tank, so Im asuming it was safe to use, "bathroom sealent" was just my newbie'ish way of describing it. Well looks like my weekends all planned then. any other tips it Im setting it up from scratch again?

Thanks for the response, but doesnt the sealent take about 18 hours to set? which means having the fish in a bucket for a full day?
