Hey all! I purchased a female balloon molly about a couple of days ago....and I got to thinking...they were several males in the tank as well as females...Do you think she may have already been inpregnated, or do you think she was lucky at didnt get mated with? If you think has been when will I...

the one on the bottom to me looks like a tattooed balloon molly.

Ok...just stating my opinion here...but its not nice to just put that his/hers betta doesnt look happy...the fish may very well be happy, and at least its not in one of those little plastic containers that barely offer enough room for it to move around in! Be nice, and dont state that someones...

Hey again all! I know I was also the one who posted about the sailfin mollies but after doing research, and also going back to the LFS I found several varities of Fancy guppies that had me drooling, even more over them then the mollies...and with the tank I have i think Im going to get a trio of...

lol! came home tonight from a church easter thing and found that my lone female mickey mouse platy had given birth...I knew she was pregnant just didnt know when she would drop....only saw one baby so dont know how many she actually had! I think every female livebearer you buy from the pet store...

You have some beautiful fish! I like the dalmation one....and I think the ones at the LFS are multicolored males really pretty...Is it ok with a male + female ratio or 2 female + one male ratio? I would be interested in breeding them just wanted to know if a pair or trio was best for sailfins.

Hey all! After spotting some very beautiful sailfin mollies in a very nice LFS, they made me think about getting some just have to think about it...Ive already done my research on them and all about it is best if all molly species have salt in the tank and what not...What i wanted to know is...

From what I have read....sailfin mollies are rather big mollies and dont stay small for long if you have them small.....also it seems a bit crowded in your 10 gallon....maybe keep your dwarfs in one and then get a seperate bigger tank for the mollies? Just a thought...please correct me someone...

Infact I have read alot about cycling, and i forgot to mention that when I recieved the tank I also got a portion of the filter media that came along with the filter combo...media/bio-wheel both which were a dark green/brownish color....so i believe that will help move the cycling process along...

As of now I only have a blue mickey mouse platy...Im waiting till next week since I get more money then and will be getting live plants....I really like guppys alot...and then again thought about just getting another female platy (the one I have now is a female..) and a male and just leaving it...
