Hello. Yesterday I saw one of my two female (blue?) peacock Cichlids had one eye which looked like an injury or pop-eye, I done a rather large water change and planned on getting some treatment today. Just no I've looked in the tank - and it's eye isn't even there anymore, just a gaping hole...

I actually bought it in the shop and asked what it was called and it's requirements etc etc, but forgot what it's called. Having looked around I think it's the most likely - he did say it was a female too and that the males display more colour.

After a bit more searching the thing I think looks the most likely may be the Apistogramma cacatuoides (Cockatoo Dwarf).

Possibly some kind of Dwarf cichlid like this then? http://www.practicalfishkeeping.co.uk/pfk/...?article_id=615
