ROFL thats what i was thinking, which is fine by me i think the SD are awesome and not as much of a hassle to care for as the HM, ive just never seen her care a male so small before!
ugh LOL im even more confused now.
i believe the beard went all the way around, its just completely clear, maybe he is just a young hm male??
ill just have to wait it out and see im guessing, i have another short finned female and the ovipositer is very obvious.
ok so i saw him flare his translucent beard pretty largely at the new female betta my bf brought home yesterday, im assuming its a male, but if it is a male then i have no clue what KIND of male? my best guess was a delta but another forum user on another site said it was definitely not a delta...
thats kind of where im at, you summed it up and said it nicely, i bought it thinking it was a small male.
ive looked for the ovipositer and it LOOKS like theres a little bump? but its just really hard to tell because it likes to lay in the lilly pads and sideways on the leaves, it really is an...
thanks, its nice to see support rather than encourage giving up on her poor soul! shes a beautiful dog, ill find a pic.
That is my beautiful lotus girl, just beautiful.
Thanks, and nice tank in your sig btw! i likeeee.
and the reason i am willing to give her the extra chance is because she didn't attack ME, and if she meant to kill my other dog she WOULDN'T have gone for her leg, a dog that means to kill knows to go for the jugular as common as that seems...
ok SO
i have 2 bettas, a red and purple CT male, and across the divider is a mystery gender white/blue/greenish betta.
i have come to 2 conclusions:
1. it is a small, shorter finned delta tail male with no beard under his gills, flaring or not flaring. with shorter vent fins and female...
ahhhhhhh I LOVE BLUE HEELERS.
we actually had a slight INCIDENT. in the middle of february.
our pitbull mix(shes not a true "pit" due to being more than 85% white.) attacked our black lmini lab while iw as carrying her inside to prevent her from jumping the fence.
long story later, Lotus...
i tried to check underneath but hes swimming too fast, but ive always thought him to be a male.
does anyone have a thought on putting a flowerhorn with an arowana?
im sure people have done it, but we couldnt even keep our red/white devil cichlid with the arowana for longer than 6 months...
ahh! yes, perfect way to describe the relationship of owner/flowerhorn.
i have mine in a tank beside my tv/my usually sitting spot with my lap top.. i LOVE the way he swims.. all over the tank with no general pattern..
and he does get himself worked up over his reflection as well lol! ill...
i lol every time i see that^^ maybe im 7 years old at heart.
i was pretty sure on the male, like 99.5% but ive seen some people's "females" and im like. ehhhhh.
i was kinda worried about mine's belly being too full but hes pooping and what not, super active and eating normally so i think hes just healthy, im just not use to seeing a chunky little fish. im thinking hes between 3-4 inches? i got him for christmas and he was about 2 inches, so thats about...
