not sure matty i was thinking a cool white. the last pictures i put on were with a different tube fitted (i got a few with the tank and kit i bought) it is an Arcadia tube marine white. it is not at bright as what i did have in and the colours look better in the fish too.

thanks for the comments. darkentity thanks for the info, i got the firemouth, catfish, elephant nose and plec off a freind of mine who has had them for some time in a 3' tank with the same type of tetras, he did say he had no problem but the tetras might end up been food but they should be ok...

thanks for that matty i will get those tubes changed, i bought the tank and most equipment recently and it had previously been used for marine hence the tubes fitted.

:blink: they have all been together for over a week and a half and they are all ok, from what i have been told neons would have gone but the glowlights are a bit bigger and wont be bothered.

what is meant by very odd selection numbers? any advice welcome about what fish and numbers would be recomended.
