Took the other one back today. When I went to my local fish store they said the one took back (bigger one) was a female and likely trying to lay eggs which was why being aggressive as the blue one smaller. Since the bigger female has gone back the little blue guy is swimming a lot more free now!

Thought that might be the case! Going to take the one bully back to fish store to avoid getting to that stage

It’s around 26 C in tank. And they are whitefin bentosi tetras. (Hyphessobrycon bentosi) Is it just a case of leaving it as it is then?

It tends to be more in morning time when lights switched on and then tends to die down but still can happen. And it’s not just the one it’s all of them. He’s the biggest also

Hi Just looking at this video - any advice? My one white finned tetra seems to chase every fish (especially in morning when lights come on) is this alarming behaviour? He’s the biggest one and seems like a bully. Tends to be more closer to the plant - not sure if being territorial? Any advice

So I’ve had about 6 fish in tank now for a couple days. 2 fish have been in it for about a week. Everytime I have tested it has been 0 ammonia, nitrite and nitrate? How come everything showing as normal? Surely there should be nitrates? Or are the live plants sorting it?

Thanks Yeah I probably will get more in the coming weeks but I don’t want to overload filter so I’ll just get three more tomorrow and build them up I think 👍
