Does anybody know a way to kill them off when preparing plants before putting them in the tank? Maybe a bleach wash or something similar? I was given some Wisteria cuttings and took a long time examining each leaf for eggs, and removed what I could find, while clipping off leaves that were...
I recommend green tetras - they're a little bit smaller than the neons and, having had a little school of 6, along with panda corydoras and kuhli loaches (I recommend an absolute minimum of 6 panda corys, with 10-12 being a better number for their happiness and your entertainment), as they are...
Congratulations!! Your aquarium and the reason behind creating such a stunning fish home are both truly beautiful. What a wonderful and well deserved win!! 🤩🤩
Here is my 98*50*50cm, 45 gallon crazy Panda/Community tank. After starting off in the hobby doing Everything Wrong, I finally set this up, cycled with Dr Tim's all in one and Ammonia until I got it right, 6 months ago.
It is aquascaped using a combination of white and Nile River sand...
I agree! I have 2 black and 3 striped kuhli loaches, and they are all a bit less shy and very laid back compared to all I have read about them. When I feed live BBS, they are so comfortable with my hand being in the tank (with or without the pipette), that they will come out of their cube or out...

I have only panda and peppered corydoras, 3 striped and 2 black kuhli loaches in my adult community tank.
As I raise the panda and peppered cory fry in different tanks, I hatch my own baby brine shrimp as a first-food for the fry and a tasty supplement for the adults.

Though I am not of your wise life length in years, I absolutely relate to the way you feel!!
After an incredibly incompetent beginning in my journey back to keeping "a few fish" to keep me occupied while awaiting finalisation of a career/ workplace injury situation, I have done an incredible job...
