Thank you both :) I'm using a light I found in my garage, think it's off a propagator or something haha Added some normal and red cabomba this week, also got some more hydrocotyle which is melting everywhere. Not sure about the cabomba at the back, should it stay?

Added 6 flame tetras today Also have an apple snail in my 55gal that I will be moving over soon.

Cherry barbs are a similar size to platies and would work with your stock You'd need to get at least 6 of them really though as they are schooling fish.

I have a 200l upstairs with no problems, you might want to do some research into what kind of floor you have etc. It also helps to put the tank in the corner of the room near structural walls.

Thanks, and neither :) The tank uses biological filtration as well as a filter so there is compost under the sand that provides fertilisation for the plants.

Small update, the stargrass has grown a fair bit :)

^Cheers both :good: Just tested the water: Ammonia- 0ppm Nitrite- 0ppm Nitrate- 0ppm May be able to have apistos after all if the water conditions stay like this :)

Small update, added some Hydrocotyle leucocephala, stargrass and a lot of amazon frogbit.
