    Pearl Gourami Questions

It seems your pearls have paired meaning they are mates (not australian) and as for being kind to the dwarf they can be very passive or aggresive depending on their environment. Opilius

    Best Gourmis?

Male Gourami's of any type are usually semi aggressive and dwarves aren't as hardy do to inbreeding so I would go with female threespot gourami. There are a few different variety Blue, Opaline, Gold, Platinum and more. Oplilius

    New Dwarf Gourami

I would add another female as they will play but if you can't find one you could get another male of the same size so they would bother eachother. I have two that are active in their bickering but never really hurt eachother. I dont recomend this though considering they bicker with the other...

Do I Have To Many Fish?

So far the fish have been perfectly peaceful especailly the cichlid and paradise fish, I guess because they were added to the tank after the gourami's had estabished their territory. I also might have not identified the cichlid correctly because the fish store owner wasn't sure what it was but...

    Territorial 3 Spot Gourami

if you buy a male and female threespot it doesn't necessarily mean they will pair and if they dont the male will attack the fmale to no end. Also threespots are very aggressive and territorial in the first place. The best thing you can do is buythem when they are very young and if you see the...

    Paradise Gourami?

In my experience as long as the tank is well planted and not overpopulated they will be fine (Mine leave the other fish alone and dont even bother eachother). Opilius

    Paradise Fish Question

Was thinking of getting a paradise fish/gourami and was wondering if they would be aggressive to its other tankmates. I would be adding one or two probably a female or a female and a male and already have four dwarf gouramis. I've read elsewhere they they were aggressive but was looking for an...

    Honey Gouramis

They should be kept in a much larger tank unless you are only keeping them there temporaraly. The males dorsal fin is pointed at the end while a females is rounded. Females are also often smaller and less colorful.
