Male Gourami's of any type are usually semi aggressive and dwarves aren't as hardy do to inbreeding so I would go with female threespot gourami. There are a few different variety Blue, Opaline, Gold, Platinum and more. Oplilius

They should be kept in a much larger tank unless you are only keeping them there temporaraly. The males dorsal fin is pointed at the end while a females is rounded. Females are also often smaller and less colorful.
