I've seperated mine for time being and am looking into getting him re-homed. I've trawled through the internet and there doesn't seem to be a solution.. its sad but its not fair on the other fish to be bullied so much :/

I have the same problem, my male has shredded the fins of a couple of others with his aggression :( If anyone has any help it would be so appreciated!

From my recent experience; Platy's. I got 4 about a week ago, one has had babies and another two are pregnant! If they don't come pregnant from the shop then they soon will be! Don't put Bettas out of your mind though, they are very easy to care for and really do have a lot of character :)

Well the good news is he decided to eat. Bad news is, it was platy fry! She gave birth earlier than expected so he chomped them down. Nature huh?!

From what i've read its fine for them to eat it, Platies are omnivorous so they'll eat plants too, plus its natural! I have a few platties and they enjoy eating algae too, be thankful they're helping clean the tank :P

Do you know of any decent fish/pet shops? I'm struggling to find any :/
