What Do You Think About Nano?

The TMC version comes with a heater, which I'd assume you could buy separately. Otherwise, there's a few little 10W heaters around (although most aren't thermostatted) and some especially tiny 25W ones.

    Dwarf Puffer Tank

Eheim 2213? Or one of that sort of sized Eheims. You can buy them relatively cheaply (or second hand), and they're pretty much bullet proof so consider it an investment. Or a HOB, Aqua Vital do ones up to 650lph, Eheim Liberty goes up to 760lph. Obviously that's not taking into account whether...

My Idea For A Quarantine Tank

You wouldn't need to fit in a whole extra filter to keep extra media in the larger tank. Either just shove it in (sponge is very compressible), or keep a spare new sponge and when you need the QT tank, lop a bit off the established sponge and replace it with a bit of new sponge. Then rotate the two.

Are 3D Backgrounds For Terrariums Safe For Fish Tanks?

It would be worth giving them a few coats of some sort of clear, safe varnish. That way you won't need to worry at all.

    Using Aragamilk With Sand

What sand is it? It seems to be some sort of calciumy thing for marine tanks, so if you have a freshwater tank, no, don't use it. If you do have a freshwater tank, the sand suggesting Aragamilk makes it sound suspisciously like it might be one that will alter pH and therefore not a good plan anyway.

    Would Appreciate Some Advice :)

4x1x1 is a nice size, big enough for lots of options but small enough that a water change is still only a bucket or two. Is it a specific 'package' or are you getting all the kit separately? Cycling wise, it's up to you as to what will work best. Option one is with fish, which isn't nessecarily...

    Perruno Catfish, Perrunichthys Perruno

Bear in mind the chances of actually getting a true perruno are slim to none. Much more likely to be a Leiarius longibarbis or something or that ilk. Not much difference although I think the Leiarius has a slightly larger adult size than the perruno (about 30").

    Fluval Edge Vs Vision Aquarium

Well, although the Vision is cheaper and bigger, it's also ridiculously tall which will make it a complete pain to aquascape and stocking it will be a bit more tricky because of the dimensions. It's also got a fairly rubbish filter.

    Need A Sturdy Stand

Most standard furniature items should be sturdy enough, if you're concerned it's easy enough to renforce it with some extra screws and a few bits of wood.

    Faking It

With active bottom dwellers like loaches you might get away with crypts in pots, probably best not to put anything directly into the substrate because you'll forever be replanting. Slate, probably moss- I tie it on with fishing line, I know some people use netting or hair nets but I've had fish...

    Faking It

There's plenty of 'bullet proof' plants around, you *can* do it the fancy techy way if you want but there's no reason you have to. Moss, crypts, anubias, java fern, for example- none of them need much light or additional fertilizers. The crypts go in the substrate, the rest are tied to wood or...

The Black Lagoon- Se Asian 'biotope'

Sadly I no longer have the betta. No idea what was wrong with it, just sat under the filter for a few days then died. Pretty miffed, obviously, but I suppose at least it means I no longer have to worry about small fish/other betta species. And since he's been gone, the cupanus have started...

    Wild Species With Splendens?

And just because wilds are more peaceful, doesn't mean they're not going to be annoyed by the arrangement either. They mgiht not be bred to fight to the death, but they can definitely be feisty.

    Wild Species With Splendens?

The trouble with wilds is that they still look like bettas. They might generally be brown and have short fins, but it's not going to make much difference to a splendens. I'm not saying it will never work, but I can't see it working very often.

    Bga Problem

Hm. Anywhere other than AE sell it? They're out of stock at the moment. Or any alternatives (like 'own brand' versions)?
