    Pricing for Melanochromis cyaneorhabdos

The average price I'm getting is $5.00 each for 1.5" fry. I'm going to go ahead and grow them out to that size. When they are ready for new homes, I'll post in the classifieds. I still have the extra male; and pricing average for him is around $7.00. He's ready for a new home now, and shipping...

    Pricing for Melanochromis cyaneorhabdos

Stores around here usually sell cichlids (2" to adult) for $4 to $10. Some stores sell cichlid fry for $0.99. I'd rather get them from a breeder so I know the history. Usually a breeder is cheaper and has higher quality fish.

If I did the currency converter correctly, that's a little over $21 USD. The average here seems to be around $5.00 for 1.5" fry.

    Pricing for Melanochromis cyaneorhabdos

My Melanochromis cyaneorhabdos spawned, and the female finally spit the fry about 2 weeks ago. I may sell them but I don't know what to charge for them, or know if they even popular right now. Any suggestions? I also have an adult, I believe to be a male. How much for him if I sell him?

    Bio-wheel filter questions

Hi! :) Someone on another forum alerted me to what was wrong. The grey lever to recycle the water had somehow got pushed all the way down. So all my filter was doing was recycling the water frome the filter, back into the filter. Thanks for the suggestions! :D

    Bio-wheel filter questions

Hi! I have an Emperor 400B bio-wheel filter system that I'm having trouble with. The water isn't being sucked up the intake tube, but it's being pressurized into the misting tubes. I dry ran the filter (shame on me!) and found out that the impellor is running. Any ideas as to what's wrong with...

    Livebearers

Hello! :P I have between 20 and 50 guppies I'd like to find a home for. They aren't fancy tails, but the females are prehit with either fancy tails, regular guppies, or endlers. The males include regular guppies and endler hybrids. THESE ARE NOT TO BE USED AS FOOD! Pick up only in northeastern...

    walmart

Hello! :D If you find something that really bothers you at a Walmart store, don't yell at the workers. They're USUALLY doing the best they can with minimal staff. -_- The best thing to do is go to Customer Service and ask for a comments sheet to send to the head of Walmart. They have to give...

    walmart

Hi! :D I think it all depends on each individual Walmart. -_- There's a Walmart about 20 miles away from my house, that is GREAT with their fish and tanks. :kana: Then there's another Walmart that's only about 5 miles away, that is absolutely horrible! Dead fish in the tanks for weeks, the...

    Help Help Help

Sorry to hear about your fish! :( What kind of algae eaters do you have? I have heard of Chinese Algae Eaters (once they are older) attacking slow moving fish - especially at night while they sleep. They get on the fish and suck off their slime coat. It wouldn't hurt to add some...
