Stores around here usually sell cichlids (2" to adult) for $4 to $10. Some stores sell cichlid fry for $0.99. I'd rather get them from a breeder so I know the history. Usually a breeder is cheaper and has higher quality fish.

If I did the currency converter correctly, that's a little over $21 USD. The average here seems to be around $5.00 for 1.5" fry.

My Melanochromis cyaneorhabdos spawned, and the female finally spit the fry about 2 weeks ago. I may sell them but I don't know what to charge for them, or know if they even popular right now. Any suggestions? I also have an adult, I believe to be a male. How much for him if I sell him?

Hi! :) Someone on another forum alerted me to what was wrong. The grey lever to recycle the water had somehow got pushed all the way down. :rolleyes: So all my filter was doing was recycling the water frome the filter, back into the filter. Thanks for the suggestions! :D
