Definately not daphnia or any sort of live food. And it is unlikely that they're from the plants to be honest because they've been sat in the plant cascade at work for months and most likely would have hatch by now. Thanks anyway though.

Why don't you get bronze, peppered or even albino? There are many different types of cory, don't restrict yourself to just pandas. About the centrepiece fish, I would also suggest a smaller gourami species.

How about a tiretrack eel? They prey on smaller fish, but with your tank it should be fine. They're not too expensive either (but it depends where you get them).
