    Is bleach safe to use.

    Is bleach safe to use.

Hi All, I would just like to ask how safe is it to use bleach to clean algae from white rock? Are some types of rock more absorbent than others? If so would it be more difficult to remove all traces of the bleach? Thanks for any help. Oct.

    Gravel V sand

Hi All, I set my tank up using pea gravel but now find it involves a lot of work keeping it clean. I use a syphon every 2 weeks, is this normal? Would life have been easier if I had used sand as a base? Thanks for any comments.

Hi from sunny Deal in Kent, UK.

Hi All, I would Just like to introduce myself as I am new to this site, but not new to fish keeping, as my username suggests I’m an old git who’s returning to tropicals after a break of around 20 years. Our tank is a Jewel Rio 125 which we intend to keep as a community tank. It’s been set up...
