Why Won´t My Yoyo Loaches Eat Bottom Feeder Pellets?

That is highly likely, thank you, her new spot is over near the bubbler in my tank (it agitates the water and causes more surface area at the surface helping to increase oxygenation). If that is the case as long as I put a slate cave over there she should be fine.

Why Won´t My Yoyo Loaches Eat Bottom Feeder Pellets?

Ya, my hillstream loach will ram a yoyo if it swims up to look at her, but I think that the yoyo´s are starting to get the message ¨don´t introduce yourself the the spotted flat fish behind the up pipe¨. 😊

Why Won´t My Yoyo Loaches Eat Bottom Feeder Pellets?

Oddly my Hillstream loach, ever since the yoyos got put in the tank, has changed her ¨turf¨. She used to stay in her cave now she is on the back wall behind a up pipe from the under gravel filter. I honestly have no idea why she did this other than she and the knuli´s and Dwarf Chain loach were...

Why Won´t My Yoyo Loaches Eat Bottom Feeder Pellets?

I think with my hillstream loach its just that she is not social and yoyos are, she does not like that they invade her space. And unfortunately I am doing all that ¨I¨ can do, my parents do not want a bigger tank and does not want to spend more money, I don´t even ask for more than fish food for...

Why Won´t My Yoyo Loaches Eat Bottom Feeder Pellets?

Here is the problem, I only have a 30 gallon tank, I have had problems with aggressive fish before and they were brought back to a fish shop immediately. At the moment they seem to be doing well, if anything my chain loach is annoying the female yoyo. I do greatly appreciate your insight, but...

Why Won´t My Yoyo Loaches Eat Bottom Feeder Pellets?

Ya at this point I am going to go with they will eat when they get hungry enough. But in case they do become too thin I have a back up plan. I have just put a few of the remaining snails in a glass vase with a lid and they can breed so that there will be more snails just in case.

Why Won´t My Yoyo Loaches Eat Bottom Feeder Pellets?

So all of them are peaceful, and because my chain loach is apart of the botia family and so are my yoyos they are social, and actually my chain has been hunting along side the yoyos, odd behavior but it seems to have no ill effect on him.

Why Won´t My Yoyo Loaches Eat Bottom Feeder Pellets?

Ok ya the pellets are about half the size of a pea, and my yoyo loaches are 4 inches long so I figured it would be ok. What brand of food, and what type do you feed your clown loaches?

    Is this hardscape too much?

yes, because corys will dig throw any sand or gravel you put in so you are going to want a good lair of it, and that amount of hardscape is going to make that difficult.

Why Won´t My Yoyo Loaches Eat Bottom Feeder Pellets?

So about two days ago I got two yoyo loaches to add to my tank. My dwarf chain loach had always just eaten the snails in my tank, but when I added the yoyo´s by the end of the day there were no snails yet. The problem is that I have attempted to thus feed my dwarf chain loach (who I have had for...

How do I fix my 30 gallon tank? Fish keep slowly dying.

I wanted to update everyone that helped me and brainstormed ideas of what it could be. It did turn out to be my GH, which was 3, my water was too soft for live bearing fish. This did explain why my loaches are healthy and happy. All of my live - bearers have been brought back to my local fish...

How do I fix my 30 gallon tank? Fish keep slowly dying.

Thank you so much I will have to look, odd question but can fish withstand a difference of one when it comes to pH because my waters pH runs around 7.4 almost all the time but most soft water fish require 6.5.
