I upgrade to T5, 300watt 100gallon tank, trippled my lighting in one go - major problems algae ect.. I was injecting Co2. biggest problems with t5 is the lack of tubes.

can you post a picture? I was going to suggest putting a pump in but it seems you have already look at this. what about an air pipe and air pump hide (the pipe) under the gravel and turn it on at night?

Hi All any tips on removing a glass brace? water will be removed. the brace is placed ontop of two glass butts each one attached to the sides of the tank. The brace is set with glue cheers

my understanding is that the petroleum jelly-like stuff is for the primer, I have both 2028 and a XP3 the XP3 manual suggests the jelly is for the primer - (the thing you push down) apprantly the primer can become sluggish after time hope it helps ob1

Hi nitro You may find that the stuff is actualy coming from the pipework. There is always a buildup. I have the same problem - it gets worst if you not clean the pipes out. hope it helps ob1
