Ok i noticed while browsing through some pictures of Cynotilapia afra, that subdominant males are obviously less colored. When does this occur, and say i get 3 females ane 1 male, will the male for sure be dominant? Can someone just please explain the whole idea of Dominant/Subdominant Males...

ok so we have some mixed views here.. one person is saying 6 at the least.. other is saying 6 at the most? I stress that if i get angels, i want them to reach as close to full size as possible...

Still debating on what to put in my 55 gallon, ive narrowed it down to african cichlids... Or angelfish. If i want my angelfish to grow as large as they can get, whats the most i can get? 5?

ive read through your whole this on angels.. thanks by the way for making that. very informative :D But what is the reason they need to be taken out of the breeder net? The net i have isnt even wired tightly enough to catch the babies.. They just 'hatched' today

i just seperated my bby angls from the rest of the tank through a net. They are sitting in the bottom of the fish net breeder... The bby brine shrimp that I tried feeding them are just float out of the net..How do I feed them? What do I do from here?

Can you mix any Tanganyika and Malawi at all? Is it basically a general rule that any Malawi/Tanganyika will go with their own kind? oh wow! or this electric yellow lab :wub: And i guess if that orange one up there wouldn't work. this one would correct? since its a malawi?

Right now i'm pretty much picking between african cichlids for my 55, or some blue rams and other fish...? What other fish can be housed with the blue rams? If i remember correctly, i had one of these a few years back and he was pretty aggressive

I have a 55 gallon tank and I'm interested in getting some African Cichlids. I want some really colorful one, anyone have any other suggestions other than these? Also which of these fish can be housed together, which can't? Also how many can i get for my 55 gallon? (wide). LAMP LELEUPI (orange)...

yea but i was looking for something that was more or less in an archived fashion, easier to navigate... Maybe when I have time i will have to make one myself ;)
