thanks, i put the 50w heater in last night and its now running at 23 c. so i`ll see how it goes for now. probably pick a new 100w one up in the next week or so. can i use any type? and can can i put it in the box in the corner like the juwel one i`ve got. cheers

hi i have a juwel 70, and the heater turned as low as it will go , the temp is 29 c. is this too high for my tropical tank? it is a degree or so above the green bit on the thermometer. i have a spare 50w heater , the one in the tank at the min is 100w, will this be alright to use? or is 29...
