Another vote for the V2 here. Having used plenty of low end deltecs (upto the MCE 600), aquamedics, V2s, Tunze etc. I think the V2 are the best value for money and do a pretty decent job. Only drawback is that you need a pump in the tank that takes up space but so does the aquamedic. Nim

I had a problem with a Sunsun pump's magnet attachment making viberation noise. I cut an airline pipe and fitted it between the pump holder and the glass and it became silent. However any powerhead touching the glass will make some noise but dont expect a saltwater tank to be completely silent...
