I don't have a pea puffer but green spotted puffer; diet is similar. I basically forage live food for him everyday be it snails, worms or woodlice; basically mimic anything that would fall into the water in the wild. We keep a small bag of frozen shrimp for days where I can't find anything.

So my Albino Cories went into a breeding frenzie recently and covered the walls of the tank in eggs. I set up a second quarantine tank and carefully removed the eggs and moved them to said tank. After a few day the eggs started hatching, little white 'tadpoles' emerged but none of them survived...

Shrimps and corys are the answer to dead fish. Any of mine that die get eaten and reduced to bones before they get chance to rot!!

Am I the only one concerned about the tank standing on an amp???   The vibration and noise is going to do more harm to the fish than a couple of badly placed rocks!!

Strange. I've kept Zebra dannios and always found them to be peaceful towards other fish and themselves; they do annoy other fish when they tear around the tank chasing each other, but nothing aggressive. Think you may just have a physco-dannio!

As above..F8 are brackish so you are limited to what you can keep with them. In a big enough tank; well planted to break up line of site you could keep more than one puffer; but there is a reason why they are kept alone!! My puffer has a 90 liter tank to himself so you have about double that; so...

It all depends on the filter media. If the tank itself is clean and you move the filter or the media from your old tank to new.....transfer as much of the old water from your existing tank to the new and fill it up with fresh it will be not much different than a 50% water change. Your existing...

2000L would be more than enough!! You would need some way to create a full 'Bio Sphere' so that the right mix of food was dropping into the tank; and not just snails.   I'm thinking an indoor pond environment in some kind of self contained tropical bio-dome that would have to include full flora...

If your fish aren't gasping at the surface then you should be fine. You only need ripples on the surface to help with the oxygen levels.   I have a power head in my tank on a timer it comes on for 2 hours a day; but that's because the internal filter outlet never made any impact on the surface...

  Please don't put Danios in a small tank. They are a very active fish that live in fast flowing streams. They need a long tank and a reasonable filter to swim against, my old tank had a powerhead to generate the current.
